she gave a stern nod toward the other, her hands holding it as if it were a child ( though her palms were a bit sweaty ).
` mm, okay sir—— i will. ` said before she nearly dropped it.
a sigh left the butler’s lips—a breath he hadn’t been aware of holding in—as she returned the item to its place. he then straightened, brow lowering as his mood changed from anxious to something more akin to business.
Why are these things always so heavy? The young woman can’t help but internally curse herself for going after something so risky. Especially when the youmu stone in her bag was causing her to walk at a slower pace. Still, it was hard to not look irritated about it, and she might have looked like she wanted to murder some(one/thing) when she bumped into someone quite a bit taller than her.
A halfhearted apology, and she bent down to collect the contents of her bag that had slipped out.
It had been such a lovely day when the butler had first ventured out. The weather had been mild, and his check list was rapidly being completed; he had a small bag of groceries in one hand, and a bag of assorted things that the house had needed in the other. He was on track to return to the Phantomhive house in time to prepare lunch. That is, until bumping into something someone would put him slightly off of schedule.
He stopped in his tracks after making contact, blinking at the girl in question. He shifted the bags around in his arms so that he could offer his hand for her to stand up—he was, after all, the Phantomhive’s Butler—an air of apology covering his features. He would be nice—she was only a child.
"My apologies,“ said Sebastian. "Are you alright?"
